Spacious 4 bed, 2 bath House in Garsfontein, Pretoria East

WOW. Just goes to show that it is a buyers' market. This home was very well priced, and still took 7 weeks to sell, I would have imagined 4 weeks tops. Well done @APoc184

Definitely not the best time to be trying to sell.

Received many offers. Some ridiculous ones. Especially from contractors wanting to flip the house.

Also received so many offers subject to the selling and registration of buyer's current property. We did not even consider them as we know how long it can take to get it sold.

Lucky to have sold to a cash buyer in the end.

House was priced very well for location and size but definitely do need some work to make it a bit more modern. We did factor that into our asking price.

All in all we probably had 50+ people come for viewings. And if I count correctly. 12 offers.

Wife was proper gatvol of all the people in and out.

Agreed, location is everything, the little shack is Sandton / Pta East is the best place to be investment wise. 12 offers -- I am guessing 3-4x the foot traffic, must have been a busy time for you, and you must be so relieved that it's over.

Edit: OIC 50+ viewings, that's nail-biting, especially if you are still living in it..
