As far as I can see, everyone in the thread has accepted it a long time ago. The point being dodged by the person who brings it into every post he makes is.... "and?"

I hope the two sides can put it to rest now. Though the US is concerned with Iranian technological advancements, in particular nuclear capabilities. I don't think they and their partners want another war in the Middle-East. The direct attacks between the two sovereignties are a global security risk. Israel and Iran will continue their shadow wars. The Middle-East is proxy central.

I remain in the view that Israel will invade Lebanon. Both Israel and Hezbollah have been upping the ante. Eyes will also now return to Gaza and the West Bank now that Iran said that they will not retaliate.

"Bombing the living hell out of them" - what do you call the rockets flying into Israel on a regular basis?

The muslim nations KNOW Hamas is attaching Israel constantly, yet they kept funding them.

isn't it obvious though? if you funded a terrorist who's stated purpose is to attack you, you shouldn't moan or even be surprised if they end up attacking you, nor do you get to claim "self defence" in the true sense of the phrase

no sane person would hand a violent criminal the keys to their house and a loaded weapon and then get to claim "self defence" after they enter your home and kill your family and you head over to their apartment and kill their innocent granny knitting in front of the telly

according to the Israelis none of them ever hit their targets and are all shot down

there needs to be death and destruction before it would qualify as bombing "the living hell" out of someone

If someone tries to rape you or a loved one, it's okay because they didn't go through with it? And if they do this on a regular basis and are stopped every time, it's still okay, because "at least the didn't go through with it"?

So why doesn't Hamas invest in their own version of the Iron Dome if bombing them is such an issue?
You know why?
It's coz they're not the ones being bombed, they're the ones DOING the bombing, that is why they give zero fks about defense :p

You would have preferred Israel to hit back harder and then risk a non-stop back and forth of strikes?
This way Israel and Iran can save face.
