I was not going to point it out
The point is that innocent people are being killed by Buddhists. It is majority on minority violence.
By your logic, one could justify Malema's actions due to the history of this country.
I would like to know a Buddhist document that advocates such killings, like Quran. The point is that innocent people are being killed by Buddhists. It is majority on minority violence.

I think my quran verses have helped in kaapie sliding towards being ex-muslim as now he actually understands the horror. Hail imam surface.I was not going to point it out

You are not getting my point. Even Jains, if given chance, could have a murderous cult but does Jain "holy" book advocates it ?Read the wiki article I quoted above. None of us are experts in Buddhism.
My point is that the West romanticizes Dharmic religions because of less exposure to them but often if you look at the texts, they have material as outlandish as the Abrahamic religions.
We do know violence is done in the name of Hinduism and Buddhism. Just look at Myanmar and the sub continent.
Also, in Myanmar, the religion of citizens is on their ID. If they aren't Buddhist, they essentially have less access to opportunities.

Still not getting my point. Anyhoo..Article mentions that there have been Buddhists who have used scripture to justify violence. You can check the reference links.

So where else are "innocent people are being killed by Buddhists"? Why is it apparently only happening in this one place?

I don't think he is getting my point. I mean let us say scientologians do violence on an islamic scale in 20 places but is there any explicit killing scripture in scientology that advocates such killings? That was my point. We're looking for the actual scripture. So until that turns up any claims made by you or anyone else is baseless atm

Buddhists are people just like Muslims & Hindus are. Point is if there is scriptural sanction on killings.
It will be interesting to know the violent verses in buddhism though because as per my understanding non-violence is the basis of buddhism but due to internet, maybe that is a myth about to be exposed soon ?
I am willing to expand my knowhow. It was only late in college when I came to know about Manusmriti, which is quite heinous part of Hindu scriptures. I mean other parts are ridiculous & fictional but nothing as close to Manusmriti. He gets your point. But when you've chosen a mountain to die on it's difficult to climb back down

Sati is also a terrible part of Hinduism, the belief that windowed women should commit suicide after their husband dies.
Not to mention, the caste system was advocated by Hinduism and still continues in the sub-continent today.
So, let me steel man your argument then. Buddha is considered reincarnation of Vishnu in Hinduism and some hindu scriptures advocate violence so Buddhism advocates violence.Sati is also a terrible part of Hinduism, the belief that windowed women should commit suicide after their husband dies.

That is the scriptural way to show violence in buddhist scriptures.
Who's better? Vishnu or Buddha? So, let me steel man your argument then. Buddha is considered reincarnation of Vishnu in Hinduism and some hindu scriptures advocate violence so Buddhism advocates violence.
