Weird how the SA media/commentariat focus so much on one person rather than service delivery and/or competence of a party. Perhaps because if they did the latter, not much could be made fun of the DA.

Yeah, Zille was a better leader than Steenhuisen but I'm voting for the DA as a political party and not an individual.

Zapiro has to keep up the moniker of being unbiased. If he didn't release a 1-1 ratio of ANC vs DA cartoon bashes, he would lose his woke card. Scratching at the bottom of the barrel to remain relevant.

Poor guy will probably forever be in the Moonshot suit, the same way Zuma will always have the shower head, this thing have a tendency to get stuck. There is hope though, I remember Zapiro saying he will remove the showerhead if Zuma is well behaved, I think the same would apply to President Moonshot, and unlike Zuma, John might have a better chance of getting back to his crisp suits.

I like the Moonshot suit. Who doesn't want to be an astronaut. Also I'm sure you need a university degree to go to the moon, so Zapiro is actually commending John's intelligence.

I also like the Moonshot suit, besides his intelligence Zapiro is also commending John's gift for singing, I don't know why people are so aggrieved about it.
