Multinational food and beverage company Nestlé has been accused of violating health guidance by selling baby food with added sugar in low- and middle-income countries, including South Africa, while selling sugar-free alternatives with the same name and branding in Western markets.

This was the finding of a joint investigation by Public Eye and the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN), which analysed 150 Nestlé baby food products sold in lower- and middle-income countries. The nutrient values on the packaging were analysed and, where necessary, owing to opaque labelling, the products were sent to a laboratory for testing.

Yup. Poor people love sugar. Third party is complaining about something where the two involved parties are happy.
Exactly right!? This is clearly a non-issue and if this reporter keeps digging deeper he will actually spoil it for the poor people because Nestle will simply stop giving them the free sugar in question. :crying:

Yeah, if the ANC was not corrupt and looked after their people, there would have been no need for Nestle to jump in to help with the current famine in the country. Oh, how the mighty ANC collapsed probably the strongest country in the world....

was waiting to see how long it would take you to blame the ANC. Post 13 - longer than I expected

Nestle sell tap water to people who has taps with clean water. They're just benefitting from consumer stupidity.

Nothing wrong with Nestle, they're a great company.

Clearly this was based on research of nutrition. Now woke people are making it political lol.

Lol wut?. I buy around 272 bottles of Nestle water a month from Makro, the water is not remotely near tap water on Ph, sodium content, taste nor flooded with fluoride and pipe-cleaner half the time.

You can drink tap water if you want, but many choose not to and there's a big difference.

Then you get on to Perrier and Evian and thats not even comparable they're amazing waters, their softness is like the Alps flipping hugged your mouth :)
