Most expensive laptops in South Africa

Gamers, graphic designers, and developers have a range of high-specced laptop beasts from which to choose, with the most expensive in South Africa being MSI’s CreatorPro X17 A13VM for R178,449.

MyBroadband looked for the most powerful and expensive laptops in South Africa and found several options for over R100,000.

For some, paying these prices for a portable PC may seem ridiculous. However, machines like these are beneficial for gamers, graphics designers, and other professionals who require a PC with a lot of processing power.

For example, videographers often store and edit large video files while on the move. Therefore, these expensive machines can be critical for their jobs.

Evetech sells a range of MSI CreatorPro X17 A13VM configurations, with the most expensive packing 96GB of DDR5 memory and 12TB of SSD storage.

The 17.3-inch laptop is priced at R178,449 and features an Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and Nvidia RTX 5000 Ada Generation GPU with 16GB of video RAM.
